MiniSShot Main Computer 1st  /2nd flight

Tommas Jensen's TAS lofts Main Computer to approximately 2500 metres; Henrik Schultz' Draupner-2 to 3100 metres. Results: 1st flight lost in North Sea, no data; 2nd flight, recovered with good data

March 20, 2010

Launch of Phoenix-1

Test flight of MiniSShot avionics/recovery system. Results: Goal attained

April 25, 2010

Launch of MiniSShot-1

First flight of MiniSShot rocket. Result: Motor CATO during 2nd burn. Safe recovery of Payload with excellent flight data.  Partial success.

November 2010

Major Sponsorship for DSS gained

Markus Bindhammer committed major funding for DoubleSShot project with a $10,000 donation, becomes our first Diamond Donor.

Launch of MiniSShot-2

Second flight of MiniSShot rocket. Result: Vehicle instability followed by breakup  during 2nd burn. Result: Motor performance apparently nominal. Safe recovery of Payload with excellent flight data.  Partial success.

First static firing of DoubleSShot “boilerplate” dual-burn motor. Result: CATO shortly after start-up.

Static firing of DoubleSShot "single-burn"
test motor with 93 lbs (42 kg) propellant.
Motor CATO shortly after start-up most likely
